San Joaquin Valley Color Guard and Percussion Review Competition

@ Clovis North High School

Admission: Adults – $10.00; Students and Senior Citizens – $8.00; Preschool Children – Free

Winter Guard

11:44 a.m.         – LUNCH (Please eat a good lunch!!!)

                             – Load equipment on Truck (Floor … Radio and Flag/equipment will go on the bus)

                             – Do your hair and make-up (parent volunteers needed…sign in at the main office)

1:25 p.m.            – At the end of 6th period, Report to Band Room. Gather equipment and guard performance uniform in garment bag. Load 1 School bus with flags/equipment and radio, depart for Clovis North High School

2:00 p.m.            – Arrive CNHS and find Coach Rachel to start warm-up in the tennis court area

4:00 p.m.            – Show Begins

4:53 p.m.            – CLARK COLORGUARD PERFORMS (Parents, please arrive @ least 15 mins.

prior to performance if you want to get in on time to watch the guard perform)       

5:17 p.m.            –Jr. High Awards

 – Load all equipment on truck.

**If you are not returning on the bus to you may be signed out with Mr. Watson, Rachel, or a Lead Chaperone after the trucks are loaded**

6:30 p.m.            – Load School Bus and depart CNHS to Clark

6:45 p.m.            – Arrive back to Clark, unload equipment, and enjoy the rest of your night!

– You are not allowed to leave until all items from the truck have been un-loaded                           

7:32 p.m.           – Clovis High JV Guard Performs

9:16 p.m.           – Clovis High Varsity Guard Performs

9:35 p.m.            – HS Awards

*** Remember it is your responsibility to get all missing assignments from your 7th period teachers!

5:33 p.m.            – CLARK WINTER PERCUSSION PERFORMS (Parents, please arrive @ least 15 mins. Prior

                               to performance if you want to get in on time to watch percussion perform)

5:57 p.m.            – Jr. High Percussion Awards      

                             – Load equipment on the trucks

Chipotle Fundraiser

This months dinner fundraiser is on Tuesday February 26th from 5pm-9pm at the Chipotle on Shaw Ave in the Sierra Vista Mall. Please consider having dinner that evening their and supporting our music program. Even if you cant eat there that night you can help by spreading the word!

Location: Clovis North HS, Performing Arts Center

Times:  4:45pm – Meet in the Band Room, dressed ready to go

5:00pm – Depart Clark

5:30pm – Arrive @ CNHS

5:45pm – Sound Check and Warm Up

6:45pm – Doors Open

7:00pm – Concert Begins

-Intermediate Band (20 Minutes)

-Concert Band (20 Minutes)

-Symphonic Band (30 Minutes)

8:10pm – Concert Ends

8:30pm – 1 Bus departs CNHS for those that need a ride back to Clark

8:45pm – Arrive back to Clark

Fundraiser – Coupon Books

We are starting our first fundraiser the students can individually participate in! All fundraising is optional of course, but the more that participate the greater our benefit and the more we can do for your kids! We will be selling coupon books. Attached is a flyer that will be sent home with your student if they choose to participate. Students will be checked out 1 book as an example. If you would like a box of books to take to your office or place of work to sell please communicate with Mrs. Harris or Mr. Watson. Thank you!

Fundraiser – Panda Express – Family Dinner Night

Our first family dinner night of the year is set for Thursday September 27th at the Panda Express on Herndon and Fowler. You can take the flyer to the store any time that day and 20% of what you spend on your meal will come back to help out the instrumental music program here at Clark.
Even if you can’t attend yourself you can help by spreading the word: print it, post it, pass it, email it, anything helps.
