Great America Festival Trip Itinerary and Information



Great America Festival – Milpitas HS/Great America

Date: Saturday, April 7, 2018

Dress: Students need to come in the morning dressed in their concert black attire. We will arrive at Milpitas High School and immediately get off the bus and go into performance warm up. There will be no place or time for students to change beforehand. Bring a change of close for after the performance. We will use the bus as a changing room.

Location: Festival – Milpitas High School, Awards – Great America theme park

Food: Some breakfast food, snacks, and waters may be provided but all other meals need to be provided by each individual student. Unfortunately no food or drink is allowed to be brought into Great America, however students may pack snacks to eat on the bus. Students should plan on purchasing at least one meal inside the park.

Times:   5:45am – Meet at Clark Intermediate

6:00am – Depart Clark Intermediate School for Milpitas HS

8:00am – Stop in Casa De Fruta for bathroom (if needed)

8:30am – Back on the buses continue to Milpitas HS

10:00am – Arrive at Milpitas HS (Check In)

10:55am – Warm Up

11:20am – Performance Time

12:00pm – Depart Milpitas HS for Great America

12:30pm – Arrive at Great America (Break into chaperone groups and enter the park)

5:15pm – Everyone must meet outside the Redwood Amphitheater

5:30pm – Awards Ceremony

7:30pm – Meet at the front gates of the park by the Carousel

8:00pm – Depart Great America

11:00pm – Arrive back to Clark Intermediate School
